The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital NHS Foundation trust launched an Extraordinary People Award in 2013 to celebrate and share exceptional achievements and outstanding contributions to healthcare at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.  Peter Simcock, The Eye Expert, was nominated for this award in the Excellent Care category.
